About A.J. and His Family

Hi!  My name is A.J. the Three Legged Dog. My life is great, but it wasn't always that way.  When I was a puppy, my owner and I were homeless. One day I got injured.  My owner had to give me up to the Dumb Friends League. They saved my life but couldn't save my leg. After my amputation the Dumb Friends League helped me find my new family, a couple of artists who always wanted a dog. They helped me adjust to my new life as an amputee. The three of us go on lots of adventures, our biggest adventure was moving to Hawaii. We love living on the Big Island. We even adopted another dog named Lucy and two cats named Misa and Cat Mahomes. I like going on walks, meeting new friends, blankets, and my family. We plan on donating 20% of the profits of this book to helping rescue animals and prosthetic centered charities.
